Welcome to the official terms and conditions for the LeeLynn Electrical Services Surge Protection Giveaway. By participating, you agree to the following rules and guidelines. For full details about eligibility, prize information, and entry requirements, please read carefully.

1. Overview of the Giveaway

  • This giveaway is hosted by LeeLynn Electrical Services, a trusted provider of professional electrical services in Kentucky.

  • The prize includes the professional installation of a Type 2 Surge Protection Device (SPD), along with necessary materials and services.

  • Installation includes external mount styles within ten feet of the electrical panel, as required by the project.

  • If required by local jurisdiction, electrical permit and inspection fees are included.

  • This prize cannot be exchanged for cash or substituted for other products or services.

2. Eligibility Requirements

  • Participants must reside in the state of Kentucky, as this giveaway is subject to local licensing and code compliance requirements.

  • Only residential properties with single-phase 120/240-volt panels are eligible.

  • If the winner rents, leases, or rents-to-own their property, they must provide documentation showing their authority to approve the project. Written consent from the property owner will be required if this documentation cannot be provided.

  • An adult of legal age must be present during installation to sign the required invoice.

  • Participants must adhere to Facebook’s community standards, and entries from fake accounts, spam accounts, or accounts showing manipulative behavior will be disqualified.

3. Entry Rules

  • To enter, participants must:

    1. Like the original giveaway post on the LeeLynn Electrical Services Facebook page.

    2. Comment "Done" on the post after completing all required steps.

    3. Optional: Share the giveaway post publicly to help spread the word.

  • Bonus Entry: Participants who share the LeeLynn Electrical Services Facebook page with their friends list will receive an additional entry into the giveaway. The bonus entry must be completed before the contest ends.

  • Each participant is allowed one standard entry and one bonus entry for a total of two entries per person.

4. Electrical Panel Conditions

  • If the winner’s electrical panel is deemed unsafe, hazardous, or incompatible due to:

    • Premature failure

    • Burning or corrosion

    • Water or physical damage
      The panel or electrical service may require replacement before the SPD installation.

  • Panel replacements or upgrades are not covered under the giveaway. A detailed estimate, including photos, will be provided to the winner for approval. Once the panel is replaced, the SPD will be installed at no additional charge.

  • If the winner has multiple electrical panels:

    • The SPD will be installed on the main panel only, in compliance with NEC 2023.

    • If multiple main panels are present (e.g., 300-amp or 400-amp service), the SPD will be installed on one panel only. Additional SPDs can be installed at a discounted rate, with a separate signed invoice required.

5. Prize Value

  • The value of the prize ranges from $600 to $1,400, depending on:

    • The type of installation

    • Brand and age of the electrical panel

    • Distance from the panel to the installation site

6. Winner Selection and Notification

  • The winner will be selected at random and announced on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at 6:00 PM EST via the LeeLynn Electrical Services Facebook page and website.

  • The winner will be notified via direct message on Facebook and must respond within 72 hours to schedule the installation.

  • If no response is received within the allotted time, a new winner will be chosen at random.

7. Privacy and Data Use

  • Participant information will only be used for purposes of administering this giveaway.

  • Personal details will only be requested from the winner to schedule the installation.

  • LeeLynn Electrical Services does not sell or share participant information with third parties.

8. Liability and Warranty

  • LeeLynn Electrical Services is not responsible for damage to the SPD caused by misuse, improper maintenance, or subsequent electrical issues unrelated to the installation.

  • The SPD installed as part of this giveaway is covered by the manufacturer’s standard warranty. Warranty claims are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

9. Code Compliance

  • All work performed by LeeLynn Electrical Services is guaranteed to meet or exceed all local, state, and national electrical codes.

  • The 2023 NEC Code will govern all installations unless superseded by local jurisdiction.

11. Additional Terms

  • This giveaway is sponsored solely by LeeLynn Electrical Services. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or administered by Facebook, nor by the manufacturer of the Type 2 SPD or the electrical panel.

  • LeeLynn Electrical Services reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the giveaway at any time for any reason.

  • The giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

  • Entries that are incomplete, misdirected, or lost due to technical errors will not be considered.

12. Force Majeure Clause

LeeLynn Electrical Services reserves the right to delay the installation or alter the giveaway timeline due to unforeseen circumstances such as extreme weather, supply chain disruptions, or other events beyond our control.
